Infrared radiation (IRR)

IRR is simply a heat-producing electric lamp. Whenever someone suffers with pain, heat therapy can give them some analgesic (painkilling) effect, however, we can achieve this same benefit using everyday heaters. While IRR also gives a temporary pain relief, it does not cure the source of the pain.
